Nehalem River Yoga Retreat
with Tonya Garreaud
$525 – $650
Enjoy a full weekend of yoga and friendship at a beautiful lodge nestled in the Oregon Coast Range. The Coastal Mountain Sport Haus, located an hour’s drive from Portland, provides a peaceful country setting for us to gather and immerse ourselves in the study of yoga and the beauty of the natural world. Yoga instruction includes asana, pranayama and discussion of yoga philosophy; all levels of experience are welcome.
There are plenty of ways to spend your free time during the weekend: Take a walk through the meadow; hike or bike on nearby trails; settle into a comfy chair on the porch with a good book, or enjoy a dip in the warm soaking pool.
Tonya Garreaud, a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher at the Intermediate Junior III level, has been teaching for 20 years. Her classes are challenging and rewarding, taught with friendliness and warmth. She has a keen interest in yoga philosophy and teaches students how to incorporate yoga into their everyday lives.
Beginning with asana class Friday at 10:00 and ending Sunday afternoon, the retreat cost is all-inclusive: two nights’ lodging, delicious meals prepared onsite using fresh, local ingredients, and over 10 hours of yoga instruction with Tonya.
